Happy Monday everyone!
It’s a new week, and there is a lot to look forward to as a Gooner over the next 6 days, beginning with Arsenal traveling to face Olympiakos in Athens on Thursday, and then back at The Emirates on Sunday for a North London Derby clash v Tottenham Hotspur.
This will be another pivotal week for Mikel Arteta and his squad, as both games have significant meanings for this season. As it stands, Arsenal’s only realistic path for advancing to European competition next season is through the Europa League. And, that my friends will require the Gunners to actually win the entire tournament and raise the trophy on May 26th!
As far as Olympiakos is concerned, the Gunners will face a side that is in very good form. Currently, the Athens club leads their Greek domestic league by 16 points with a 20-4-1 record. This will also be a chance to to see our old friend Sokratis Papastathopoulos play, but this time on the other end of the pitch.
Remember too, Olympiakos knocked Arsenal out of the Europa League last season. This is revenge time!
Regarding the Hotspur match, well it’s a NLD and that means everything! NORTH LONDON IS RED!
With all of that said, here are my predicted line-ups and final scores for both of the upcoming matches…
