Well, our worst nightmare came true. We lost to Leicester City 2-0. So, what’s next for the Gunners? Where do we go from here?
In the cool temperatures and driving rain, Arsenal had some moments that looked like the old Arsenal. Unfortunately, there were too many moments that looked like the new Arsenal.
For the second match in a row, the Gunners could muster only one shot on target the entire 90+ minutes. The one shot on target Arsenal did have was the result of some brilliant passing. The bad news was the end result totaled nothing. We caught some breaks, too. The Foxes could have scored 2-3 more goals if not for a missed kick or two, and another shot that hit the crossbar. These miscues prevented the match from getting out of control in the first half.
Arsenal is now 8 points out of 4th place.
So, enough of that. Will this be the week we see change? We are now officially in the international break window, and Arsenal’s next game isn’t until November 23rd.
Stand by Gooners, keep your attention on north London because this will be the week that either something or nothing happens to change the current status of our team.
