With just 22 days left in this summer’s transfer window, Edu and Arteta have some deadweight to purge prior to the transfer deadline. Plus, they need cash to sign more players.
So with that said, in my opinion, these are the ten players who need to move on from Arsenal and seek employment elsewhere (and why)…
Hector Bellerin – The fullback has not regained his or previous form following his last major leg injury. Arsenal needs someone to complement Kieran Tiereny on the right side of the pitch, and Bellerin is no longer up to that task. Market value – $39.07-million (USD)
Lucas Torreira – The midfielder came to Arsenal with loads of potential, however, we saw very little of that potential displayed on the field. London, and the Gunners, just doesn’t seem to fit this young midfielder’s style or comfort level. Market value – $37.4-million (USD)
Sead Kolasinac – The Bosnia and Herzegovina player has been a good utility player for Arsenal during his time at the Emirates, however, his playing time will continue to be limited, and if he wants to play regularly, this isn’t the place. Market value – $20-million (USD)
Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah – These two young players have so much potential, and yet, they see such limited time on the pitch for Arsenal. Unfortunately for them, Arsenal is fairly deep at the forward positions, so these young guns keep getting held back. Both could shine in the Premier League, or elsewhere, if given opportunities by other clubs. Market values – $15.9 million (USD) and $18.7-million (USD), respectively.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles – This has been said many times about AMN, his biggest obstacle for regular playing time is his ability to play multiple positions. He fancies himself as a midfielder, however, he has player midfield, wing, along with left and right fullback for Arsenal (plus one or two more I’ve forgotten). Selfishly, Arsenal could keep him around to plug holes, but personally for the young man, he needs to move on too. Market value – $18.1-million (USD)
Alex Runarsson – Bottom line, he just isn’t Premier League level talent. Market Value – $1.5-million (USD)
Cedric Soares – He has played some good football for Arsenal, however, if he’s not ready to take Bellerin’s place, then cut him loose. Market value – $10-million (USD)
Willian – His move to Arsenal has been less than majestic. A move to MLS would be a very good career move for the Brazilian. Market value – $28.4-million (USD)
Total market value for the above ten players – $189.07-million (USD).

Do it. We can get Martinez, trippier and a midfielder and still have money in bank for a Xmas buy ( we always get injuries)
