Very good way above expectation . Superb
Average. Turner is a squad player. Marquinhos is one for the future. Vieira is an unknown quantity at Premier League level, and if he was selected instead of Tielemans, that’s disappointing. Jesus is the best signing, but his goal scoring record is not that great, his penalty-taking record is atrocious, and I’m not convinced that a 5ft 9″ player is ideal as our centre forward. Raphinha was by far the best player linked with us and looked a near certainty, but the usual hesitation and unwillingness to pay a realistic fee once again backfired. That kind of quality is essential if you’re ever going to challenge the top clubs, especially as they all continue to strengthen. Without it, we are looking at no more than Top 6 next season. Very depressing.
