Are we looking at more uncertainty regarding the Arsenal future of William Saliba?
Footballl journalist Fabrizio Romano posted this Tuesday on Twitter…
“Exclusive: Olympique Marseille president Pablo Longoria was in London tonight to meet up with William Saliba’s agent for dinner.”
Why is the Marseille president in London to meet with Saliba’s agent?
Is Saliba already unhappy in London playing for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal? Is he concerned he will not earn enough playing time with the Gunners to warrant a spot on France’s World Cup team?
For two years there has been this back and forth between the Arsenal camp and the Saliba camp. Will he play for Arsenal, or will he want to stay in France?
In my opinion, Saliba could be a major factor in the Arsenal team for years to come. He has already proven during the USA tour how capable a player he really has become.
So what the heck is going on? Is this really much ado about nothing, or is Saliba trying to find his way back to Marseille?
As they say, stay tuned!
