What is it about Bukayo Saka that is so appealing to Arsenal supporters?
On September 5th, Saka turns 21-years-old, and has already played 133 times for Arsenal, and 18 times for England.
When he first came onto the scene in north London in 2018, you could tell this was a young man destined for greatness, and four years later, he has repeatedly proven that greatness.
Personally, I think he is the best young player in the Premier League. Of course I am biased, however, the skills he displays consistently on the football pitch are unmatched in the league by any other 21-year-old.
His boyish persona and youthful looks, plus his undeniable abilities could eventually put on the list as one of Arsenal’s all-time great players. If he can stay healthy, and if the club can keep him in north London, the sky is the limit for Bukayo Saka as a Gunner. Could he one day he could be mentioned in the same breath as Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp. Is he Arsenal’s next legend?
That’s how much I believe in Bukayo Saka. What he has already proven on the pitch in an Arsenal shirt, and also in the England shirt, is undeniable. Even his penalty kick miss in the European Championships further established him as a potential legend. How he handled that situation, plus the support he received around England, was truly amazing.
With Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus now sharing the front line, Saka will have new freedom to roam the right side and to advance into the box. This has and will fit his game perfectly.
Congratulations to his Nigerian-born parents, too. They have raised a world class you man, both on and off the pitch.
Cheers.
