Unfortunately, Edu Gaspar and Mikel Arteta were unable to strengthen our midfield depth by working a deal with Aston Villa for midfielder Douglas Ruiz. All three bids were rejected by Villa. It is what it is.
So, with the transfer window drama now behind us, let’s get focussed on Manchester United!
Sunday will be a stern test for the Gunners as they travel to historic Old Trafford to play the Red Devils at 11:30 am EDT on Sunday.
In today’s press conference, the boss was not very optimistic about Aaron Ramsdale and/or Martin Odegaard being ready to play. Alex Zinchenko remains inactive as well for Sunday. In my opinion, with a very long season ahead, I would definitely rest this guys to avoid further injury, and causing them to miss even more games.
So, here’s my projected starting XI for Sunday at Old Trafford…
[4-2-1-3]
Turner
Tierney, Gabriel, Saliba, White
Xhaka, Lokonga
Smith Rowe
Martinelli, Jesus, Saka
Predicted final score: Manchester United 1 – ARSENAL 2

Could not have asked for a better start. It does seem like the club seem short in the cm role but I understand the sensibility behind not forcing a signing. Sambis got a few good weeks to prove them doubters wrong. It’s an interesting 11 suggested there especially if MO isn’t playing and with ESR coming in. They are both so different as AMs. While one weaves passes the other often tries to connect and pass . It’s going to be interesting. How’d you reckon Manchester united are gonna start?
Itís nearly impossible to find well-informed people for this subject, however, you seem like you know what youíre talking about! Thanks
