Next up on the fixture list is Manchester United, who currently are riding a 5-game Premier League winning streak. The Red Devils have climbed into 4th, but still trail the Gunners by 9 points on the league table.
Here’s some good news that might give the Gunners a little advantage come Sunday. Man United plays a midweek league match v Crystal Palace on Wednesday. Palace is no pushover, and will give Man United a 90-minute test.
So, our team remains healthy, committed and extremely energized after the NLD win. NBC’s Lee Dixon unloaded some criticism on the Gunners for over-celebrating following Sunday’s match. I disagree with the former Arsenal star. The boys know the challenges ahead. They know there is still a lot of football to be played, so let them enjoy this moment. They earned it.
