Without question, Folarin Balogun is Arsenal’s top loanee

Let’s check in and see how Arsenal’s players on loan are doing this season at their respective clubs…

Charlie Patino – Playing at Blackpool – 24 appearances, 2 goals and 2 assists

Alex Runarsson – Playing at Alanyaspor in Denmark – 10 appoearances

Cedric Soares – Playing at Fulham – 1 appearance

Nuno Tavares – Playing at Marseille in France – 20 appearances and 6 goals

Pablo Mari – Playing at Monza in Italy – 16 appearances and 1 goal

Ainsley Maitland-Niles – Playing at Southampton – 16 appearances

Albert Sambi Lokonga – Playing at Crystal Palace – 3 appearances

Nicolas Pepe – Playing at Nice in France – 16 appearances and 6 goals

Marquinhos – Playing at Norwich City – No appearances

Folarin Balogun – Playing at Reims in France – 23 appearances and 15 goals

As you can see Balogun is making the most of his loan spell in Ligue 1. Let’s hope the young striker follows in the footsteps of William Saliba and returns to Arsenal as a 5-star player!

Cheers.

  1. I know he isn’t going to get a game at the Emirate’s but honestly I don’t understand why can’t be brought back to Emirates. Why can’t he be chosen before Eddie? He [Eddie] isn’t scoring. Gabriel is still injured. I really don’t get it. Why pay for another striker, when we’ve one already banging the goals in across the pond.

  2. To be fair Tavares and Pepe have also scored 6 each in the french farmers league. Edu and Arteta will have some big decisions for who makes the cut for the first team squad for next season. Once the loanees return and the lads born in 2001 become senior players this will be the 44 players they have to choose from and that is without any further signings
