All is not lost because there is so much to look forward to

For Arsenal supporters, April was full of poor performances and major disappointments.

The Gunners managed only one win from five Premier League matches, for a total of 6 points.

4/1

Leeds United

4-1

4/9

@ Liverpool

2-2

4/16

@ West Ham United

2-2

4/21

Southampton

3-3

4/26

@ Manchester City

1-4

Yes, they picked a bad time to play their worst football of the season, however, May is coming and the Gunners are still not mathematically eliminated from winning the title. At least, not yet.

But…regardless of that outcome, it would still important to finish strong win the remaining five fixtures.

After that, a chance to take a deep breath.

Then, what’s ahead following this season?

First, a transfer window that will, hopefully, fill some of the obvious voids in our squad.

Second, a chance for players like William Saliba, Mo Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu to get healthy.

Third, a time to clear heads, rest bodies and take some time away from the game.

Fourth, an opportunity to come back together for preseason training, and have a fresh start to the Premier League season.

And fifth, a chance to once again play in the Champions League.

All is not lost. Of course, we are disappointed that a league title is slipping away, however, there is so much to look forward to, and it begins on May 2nd!

COYG!

Cheers.
