Arsenal, oh Arsenal…what happens next?

It was an explosive afternoon of football for Manchester City as they ran all over our lads from north London. I knew we should have parked the bus. With our leaky defense there was absolutely no way to match them attack for attack. And, a 3-0 drubbing proved just that!

But enough of where we have been. I’m more concerned about where we are going.

What is the Arsenal board waiting for? The ceiling has caved in and the floor has already dropped out. The club is in complete turmoil, and sinking fast. Ladies and gentlemen, Arsenal is in 9th place in the Premier League, and the league season is just 2 games from being at the midway point. We have won just 5 league matches.  There are 10 teams who have won more games than us, and 5 more teams who have won as many games as we have. The Gunners are 7 points out of 4th place, and just 7 points ahead of the relegation zone. Folks…we are mid-table, and sinking fast.

I really believe Freddie is working his butt off trying to rally the troops. He has even cried out to upper management for more help in the dugout, and on the training field, but all he has heard is crickets.

Come on front office…you guys are not blind and deaf to what’s going on. Make a decision. There is 6 days before the next match so make a move or make Freddie the manager until the end of the season, and then please give him some support! If not Freddie, then Pochettino is still out there, and so is Ancelotti. Go for experience…go for class…go for a man who can motivate this group and give them a boost of confidence.

I worried all week the Man City game would burst Arsenal’s bubble. I could only imagine the state of the changing room after today’s match. Only 6 shots and only 1 on goal for us, while City had 14 shots and 7 on goal. Plus, 3 of theirs went into the back of the net. On the other side, we had a big, fat goose egg!

The players need a decision, Freddie needs a decision, and all of us Gooners need a decision too.

So, you guys at the top of the Arsenal food chain, it’s time to make a decision…for everyone’s sake!
