According to Fabrizio Romano, The Athletic and BBC Sport, Manchester City has dropped out of the bidding war with Arsenal for Declan Rice.
The Gunners submitted a $132.5-million (USD) bid to West Ham United on Tuesday, if finalized would equal the record for the British record Man City paid for Jack Grealish.
With personal terms reportedly already completed, now it comes down to West Ham and Arsenal agreeing on how the money is paid.
West Ham is asking it to be paid within 18 months, while the Gunners are asking for 4 years.
During Rice’s West Ham career, the midfielder player in 245 matches for the Hammers, and scored 15 goals. He has also earned 42 caps playing for England’s national team.
