Sunday’s match v Manchester City is a lot bigger than Pep Guardiola wants to admit. The Manchester City manager has claimed this game will not mean a lot towards the final outcome of the league table.
Yes, it’s early in the season for sure, however even so, this match will provide an extra shot of momentum to the winner going into the international break. And, who doesn’t want to beat City no matter when the game is played?
The Citizens holds a slim one-point lead in the table over both the Gunners and Tottenham Hotspur after seven Premier League matches played. However, even though this match on Sunday will not determine the season’s eventual champion, it will give that extra jolt every club needs at this point of the season. For Arsenal, and their fans, this is a very important match!
With that said, here’s my predicted line-up for the Gunners on the weekend…
Trossard, Jesus, Saka (Nelson if Saka can’t play)
Partey, Odegaard, Rice
Zinchenko, Gabriel, Saliba, White
Raya
Predicted final score: ARSENAL 2 – Manchester City 1
