Mikel Arteta is faced with two major injury issues this weekend. Both Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus have been ruled out of Saturday’s home match v Sheffield United. Once again, the manager will be required to rotate his squad to face the 20th place team in the Premier League.
However, with that said, this is not a match either the manager or the players should take lightly. Reports are circulating that Sheffield United manager Paul Heckingbottom could be sacked if his team loses on Saturday. So, there is a lot riding on this match for the visitors when they roll into Emirates Stadium. Arteta needs to make sure his squad is ready and focussed.
