Luton Town will not come to the Emirates without intensions of their own

Despite their current position in the league, Luton Town will not be a push over. The Hatters have their own intensions.

The Premier League newcomer this season has faired reasonably well despite standing 18th in the current table. The club has 5 wins, 7 draws and 18 defeats in their 30 matches played. Obviously, they are in the relegation zone, but only trail Nottingham Forest by three points with a game in hand.

Mikel Arteta also understands this is not going to be easy…

“Big compliments to Rob Edwards and his coaching staff. What they have done as a club is an amazing journey. I think they deserve more credit than any other team in this league. When you see the games that they have played, even when they haven’t won, they’ve been really tough.” [Courtesy of Arsenal.com]

Let’s not forget, Arsenal won the reverse fixture on December 5th by a Declan Rice last minute goal.

I’m sure Arteta and his team remember that match as well and know they have to play a solid game to win the three points and remain on Liverpool’s heels.
