Mikel Arteta said during his Friday morning press conference there are still question marks concerning the health of his squad for Sunday.
Will we see Gabriel Magalhaes? Definitely not. The Brazilian defender will be out for several weeks.
Will we see Martin Odegaard, Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Jesus, Viktor Gyokeres, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz or Noni Madueke?
Jesus and Havertz are surely a no, but the other five players could quite possibly see some game time on Sunday v Tottenham Hotspur.
Obviously, this is a big match for the Gunners. Not only is it a North London Derby, but also a chance to maintain the club’s current point gap at the top of the Premier League table.
Yes, a win at Emirates Stadium on the weekend is indeed very important.
With that said, here is my predicted starting XI for Arteta on Sunday…
[4-3-3]
Trossard, Merino, Saka
Rice, Eze, Zubimendi
Lewis-Skelly, Mosquera, Saliba, Timber
Ray
Predicted final score: ARSENAL 2 – Tottenham Hotspur 1
