Okay, so I have only been right one time this season, but that doesn’t stop me from trying.
With that said, here is my projected starting XI for tomorrow’s game at Olympiacos…
Martinez
Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Mari, Kolasinac
Xhaka, Willock, Ceballos
Saka, Lacazette, Martinelli
Projected final score: Olympiacos 0 – Arsenal 3
*Mesut Ozil stayed in London to be with his wife, who is expecting the birth of their child any day.
*Lucas Torreira also stayed in London due to illness. If he makes significant progress in the next 24 hours he could fly to Athens to compete in the match.
*Not sure if Matteo Guendouzi will even make the squad. He might still be in Arteta’s dog house.
*This should mark the official Arsenal debut of Pablo Mari.
*Bukayo Saka has earned a chance to start at his natural winger position. His work at fullback in recent games has been remarkable.
*Also, it would be nice to see Rob Holding get some playing time, too. We will see.
