Mikel Arteta on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s reaction following Thursday’s defeat to Olympiacos…
“He was gutted. He scored a wonder goal that put us through and the last kick of the game he had the best chance. He felt very responsible. We’ll try to be right behind him, he’s been phenomenal all season. His reaction, to face the media and everything, was very mature for him.”
In other words…he is world class in more ways than one!

The Sunday Express is reporting Barcelona is once again ready to move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer. The transfer fee would help cover some of Arsenal’s recently announced financial losses.

And finally, the Arsenal Women’s club returned to north London empty handed following their 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Continental Cup Final at Nottingham Forest. The Blues Gura Reiten scored the winner in stoppage time to secure the title for Chelsea. Our team will now face Tottenham Hotspur at Meadow Park in the Women’s FA Cup on March 15th. Head coach Joe Montemurro was disappointed for his team but also proud of their efforts, “I’m exceptionally proud of the team. This one has hurt, we did enough and more to probably win that game, but we didn’t.” Congrats to the women’s team for a terrific run in the Continental Cup tournament! They still have 3 more chance this season to win silverware! COYG!

Cheers. Gunner1953
