As an Arsenal fan, of course I want the Gunners to have their league run-in and a shot at the FA Cup, too. I would love to see the Gunners in a European competition next season.
In a perfect world maybe this could happen, but right now, this is far from being a perfect world.
I’m still a believer the 2019-2020 season should be made null and void. The world needs to first of all conquer its main rival, COVID-19. Once we have crossed that large hurdle, and the dust settles, then we can worry about transfer windows, player contracts, relegations, promotions, etc. If football can resume safely in August, that could be our chance to celebrate, to make a clean start, and to put this 2019-2020 nightmare in the rearview mirror.
