Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden declared: ”The Government is opening the door for competitive football to return safely in June.”
The Mirror has published an article today that quotes one player who says he thinks as many as 50% of the Premier League’s players might decide not to play during the PL’s attempt to restart the season.
One of my readers also posted a comment that might reflect many supporters’ opinions. He said, “This is madness! It’s nowhere near safe enough for contact sport or the crowds that will inevitably collect to support them.”
