One of the many news items, and of course rumors, floating around the football world is that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not sign a new contract with Arsenal until he sees what other big names come into the club this summer.
Do you think a starting XI like this would entice him to say in north London?
Martinez
Tierney, Saliba, Mari, Soares
Partey, Ceballos, Coutinho
Saka, Aubaymeyang, Willian
Now, I can’t blame the 31-year-old Gabonese man to play a wait and see game with the Gunners, because at the end of the day, he wants win more trophies.
The Mirror reported, Arsenal will make a new offer this week to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The report went on to say it is a 3-year deal worth $327,000 (USD) per week, plus incentives.
I believe, if the Arsenal Board and owner Stan Kroenke, will spring open their pocketbooks this summer to land some big name talent, then Auba staying with our club is a no brainer.
Come on. This guy is beloved by the club, by his teammates and by Gooner Nation. He is our new Thierry Henry, and the north London is his kingdom!
We keep hearing from north London a decision by Auba will come this week. Considering the shortened break between this season and next, decisions will have to be made quicker than usual.
Unfortunately, one of Arsenal’s most coveted transfer targets, Dayot Upamecano, has signed a new 3-year deal to stay at RB Leipzig, however, the names of Thomas Partey, Philippe Coutinho and Willian are still heavily in the mix.
Here in Florida, I am keeping all ten fingers and all ten toes crossed at all times hoping the Talisman, and a few new teammates, sign on the bottom line very soon!
Cheers, and stay healthy and safe!
