I know this is not a soccer related post, however, it’s hard to let this accomplishment go unnoticed.
This morning in Austria, Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge broke the world record in the men’s marathon. Not only did he smash the record he also became the first human to run the 26.2 mile race under 2 hours. In fact, Kipchoge’s official time was 1:59:40!
This is an amazing feat the entire sports world should celebrate!









Manchester City is now the leader on top of the Premier League table following Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Burnley. City leads Arsenal on the table by scoring 3 more goals in league play.
On Wednesday, Burnley was relegated back to the Championship joining previously dropping Wolves. One relegation spot remains to be filled.
Chelsea has sacked manager Liam Rosenior just three months into his six-year contract. No replacement has been named.
