I know this is not a soccer related post, however, it’s hard to let this accomplishment go unnoticed.
This morning in Austria, Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge broke the world record in the men’s marathon. Not only did he smash the record he also became the first human to run the 26.2 mile race under 2 hours. In fact, Kipchoge’s official time was 1:59:40!
This is an amazing feat the entire sports world should celebrate!
According to Metro, Arsenal is interested in Chelsea forward Neto.
The Mirror is reporting the Gunners would have to pay Galatasaray at least $81.2-million (USD) to sign Victor Osimhen.
The Mirror is also reporting Viktor Gyokeres could be wanted by Barcelona as an alternative to Julian Alvarez if Atletico Madrid refuses to sell the Spanish star.
Tom Bramell will be the head referee for Arsenal v Coventry City. Jarred Gillett will be the VAR.
Since the beginning of the 2015/2016 season, Arsenal has now won the Community Shield five times, including Sunday’s 3-0 win over Manchester City.
