I know this is not a soccer related post, however, it’s hard to let this accomplishment go unnoticed.
This morning in Austria, Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge broke the world record in the men’s marathon. Not only did he smash the record he also became the first human to run the 26.2 mile race under 2 hours. In fact, Kipchoge’s official time was 1:59:40!
This is an amazing feat the entire sports world should celebrate!
David Raya has been voted Arsenal’s Player of the Month for May by the readers of Arsenal.com.
Max Dowman has been nominated for the PFA’s Young Player of the Year Award.
Reports are circulating that Leandro Trossard has become an interest for Atletico Madrid, while Gabriel Martinelli has joined Bayern Munich’s transfer short list, and Riccardo Calafiori is being watched by Real Madrid.
Jurrien Timber has withdrawn from the Netherland’s World Cup squad to recover from his nagging groin injuries.
Team Talk is reporting Arsenal is expected to finish the permanent transfer of Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen.
