As my granddaughter would say,”tomorrow is just a sleep away!” Boy, I hope I can sleep tonight. I can’t believe another season is already here after the last season just finished. That’s our new normal, right?
There are a lot of expectations on the Arsenal squad this coming season. With a few key additions to the club, Mikel Arteta will have the opportunity to scheme and cajole his tactics more than usual. Hopefully, his improved backline will live up to the hype, and with Willian on the front row with the likes of Aubameyang and Pepe, let’s hope we see more balls hit the back of the net this season.
Arteta enters his first full season as the “first team manager” of the Gunners. He has done a remarkable job in his first nine months on the job, so we can only hope is has just begun to write the script of this great Arsenal comeback story.
Saturday is a chance to get the season off to an impressive start. A lot of goals, and a clean sheet would be amazing, however any way we walk away from Cracen Cottage with three points is just fine with me.
