It’s matchday and the Gunners hope to keep their 4-game winning streak alive when Crystal Palace invades the Emirates Stadium.
It looks like Mikel Arteta will finally have a full squad of players to choose from for his starting XI and bench.
Not only will Arteta’s starting XI be a big talking point, but also the fact the Gunners have an opportunity to break into the league table’s top ten cannot be overlooked. If they can manage to beat the Eagles by three or more goals, the Gunners will not only climb into the top ten, but will also send a message to the rest of the Premier League that they are back, and mean business for the rest of this season.
As Mikel Arteta said in his press conference on Wednesday, “I think the next two games are crucial to see the direction that we are taking and to reinforce all things that we have improved on and the results that we are having recently.” [courtesy of Arsenal.com]
Will the Gunners 4-game winning streak and a healthy squad propel Arsenal to a big win today? Can Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang break out of his PL scoring slump? Will Alexandre Lacazette remain continue to score goals at will? Will Thomas Partey’s presence on the pitch bring the Gunners the added strength they need? And, will Emile Smith Rowe continue to impress us with his spirit and determination?
These are all questions we hope to have answered today!
Arsenal v Crystal Palace, today at 3 pm EST in the USA, 8 pm prime time in England!
COYG!
Cheers.
