Hello Gooners!
Our players returned to London Colney today making Arsenal the first Premier League club to allow players to report for individual workouts.
Also, the UK government’s DCMS Secretary Oliver Dowden said today, “I personally have been in talks with the Premier League, with a view to getting football up and running as soon as possible.”
Sectors of public opinion says having football back in the UK would help raise the overall spirits of the British people.
With the PL hoping to resume the season in early June, here is my best guess for what the Gunners fixture list could look like for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season.
Again, this is purely a guess!
June 8 – @ Southampton
June 13 – @ Manchester City
June 17 – @ Brighton and Hove Albion
June 20 – @ Sheffield United (FA Cup quarterfinal)
June 27 – Norwich City
July 1 – @ Wolves
July 5 – FA Cup (semifinal)
July 11 – Leicester City
July 16 – @ Tottenham Hotspur
July 20 – Liverpool
July 24 – @ Aston Villa
July 27 – Watford
August 1 – FA Cup (final)
August 22 – The 2020-2021 season begins!
Thoughts?
Cheers, and stay healthy!
