Catching up on those transfer news headlines

Here are some of the many reports, speculations and rumors being circulated regarding Arsenal’s summer transfer window, plus a contract update as well ….

Arsenal reports Nuno Tavares has moved to Serie A club Lazio on a permanent transfer. Tavares joined the Gunners in 2021.

The Mirror claims Arsenal are in talks with Genk midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas. The 17-year-old Greek prodigy is also being approached by other top clubs in Europe.

Marca is reporting the Gunners are pushing hard to sign Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alzarez. Thierry Henry would love seeing Alzarez playing up front for the Gunners.

Fabrizio Romano has reported Barcelona is closing on the signing of goalkeeper Joan Garcia, who was a prime target in Arsenal’s summer transfer plans.

According to Sami Mokbel of the BBC, Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi is set to have his medical at Arsenal. Paperwork for the transfer has reportedly been completed.

The Gunners have put a $60-million (USD) transfer price tag on defender Jakub Kiwior.

RB Leipzig wants a transfer fee of $75-million (USD for 21-year-old striker Benjamin Sesko.

The BBC reports Arsenal are close to signing a new, long-term contract with defender Gabriel Magalahaes.

Sky Sports is reporting that Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane is being offered to other clubs  rather than clubs openly going out to sign him. Sane’s contract expires on June 30th.

The Daily Cannon has reported Albert Sambi Lokonga has admitted he wants to leave Arsenal permanently. Lokonga would prefer to stay at his loan club Sevilla.
