Here is some bad bad news to report. Mikel Arteta has confirmed Mikel Merino has picked up a shoulder injury in training that will keep the club’s new signee off the pitch for several weeks.
Now, let’s get ready for Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday morning. The Seagulls have won their first two league matches of the new season and are looking to come to north London to make it three straight.
Finally, the Champions League draw took place yesterday. Here are the Gunners nine opponents: Inter Milan, PSG, Shkhtar Donestsk, Atalanta, Dinamo Zagreb, Sporting Lisbon, Monaco and Girona. Match Day 1 will be held September 17, 18 or 19.
