From the early going it looked like a match Arsenal was destined to win. Everything was clicking on all eight cylinders for the Gunners. 2-0 to the Arsenal.
Then, following Mo Salah’s goal, everything seemed to change, and our young side looked a little frazzled as Liverpool took control of the match.
Yes, we dropped two points, but we did come away with at least one, and our club is still in first place on the Premier League table.
Everyone needs to remember that every club Arsenal faces from now until the end of the season will come prepared to give the Gunners all they have.
Liverpool had nothing to play for on Sunday other than pride. They were not going to let the Gunners roll over them, so they fought back and earned a draw.
Now the pundits and so-called experts will be saying how Arsenal has hit the wall, and that Manchester City is in the driver’s seat to win the title.
Don’t believe a word of that BS, because our lads will come back strong next week at West Ham United.
The Liverpool draw will be a good learning lesson, and a lesson Mikel Arteta and his squad can carry through with them the rest of the season.
