It’s Transfer Deadline Day!

The next 6 1/2 hours will be very interesting to watch as teams all across Europe work to complete their wheelings and dealings before the transfer window closes at 6 pm EDT (11 pm BT).

For the Gunners, there is still a lot of work to be done for Edu and Mikel Arteta before they can call it a day.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting Arsenal and Bologna have reached a transfer agreement of $27.5-million (USD) for Takehiro Tomiyasu. The 22-year-old Japanese defender was previously courted by Tottenham, however, it now looks like he will complete a medical in London today to finalize his move to the Gunners. Tomiyasu can play centerback and right fullback.

Hector Bellerin appears to be heading to Real Betis on a season-long loan, with no option to buy.

More drama for Ainsley Maitland-Niles. The player has been banned from training with Arsenal’s first team today after he went on Instagram to broker a move to Everton. Since then, the Gunners have blocked the move, and now AMN is in limbo. Watch this one closely today. This needs be resolved. We don’t want a player who doesn’t want to be here.

Eddie Nketiah’s deal for a move to Crystal Palace has been stalled. Reports indicate the two clubs had agreed upon a transfer fee, however, Eddie’s personal demand are currently too high for Palace.

Mo Elneny is the latest name to be discussed regrading a transfer. A Turkish club (not Fenerbahce) has expressed last minute interest in the Egyptian midfielder.

Alex Runarrson has a new suitor, and it appears to be Belgian club OH Leuven. The deal appears be a loan.

Reiss Nelson looks to new headed to Feyenoord on a season-long loan, however, before he goes, he needs to sign a one-year contract extension with Arsenal.

Arsenal appear to have lost interest in Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar. There are currently no talks being healed with Lyon.

Finally, it appears Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette will remain with the Gunners until at least January.
