Arteta has now strengthened his defense and his midfield, but is there one more move yet to come for a striker?
Here’s my opinion on this question. I think a big striker would slow down the quick moving front line the boss has put together. Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli have proven to be a group that works well together with speed and precision, no matter which three are on the pitch at any given time. The addition of a big striker might ruin the flow and goal scoring potential the Gunners now have.
With just three days to go in the transfer market, Arsenal still needs to move at least two players out, and sign at least one more to come in. Kieran Tierney and Aaron Ramsdale should go, with a back-up goalkeeper to be signed.
The transfer window clock is ticking for Arsenal to make some more moves to benefit this year’s squad, but Merino was a big time move today!
