Odds and Ends for the holidays

Here are a few odds and ends to think about during the holidays…

The January transfer window will run from January 1st to February 2nd. What can we expect the Gunners front office to accomplish during the course of the transfer window? Let’s hope they sign some defensive help to plug holes created by injury.

The Gunners are 2-2-1 v the Premier League’s Big Five with wins v Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, draws with Chelsea and Manchester City, and a defeat to Liverpool. In matches played in all competitions this season, Arsenal is 19-1-1 against all the other clubs played. To win the Premier League title, they need to greatly improve their record in the second half of the season v the Big Five..

Arsenal Women are currently on their winter break, but will return to action on January 10th at home v Manchester United.

Hats off to Kepa Arrizabalaga for his outstanding performance on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal. His save in the penalty shoot-out secured the win for the Gunners. Kepa has allowed only one goal in his three appearances this season for the Gunners, all in the Carabao Cup.

Cheers and Happy Holidays!

  1. Together with every little thing which seems to be developing throughout this specific subject material, your perspectives are actually somewhat exciting. Having said that, I appologize, because I can not subscribe to your whole idea, all be it stimulating none the less. It would seem to everybody that your commentary are actually not entirely validated and in reality you are yourself not really totally convinced of the point. In any case I did enjoy reading it.
