In what phase are the Gunners currently playing in Mikel Arteta’s plan laid out when he began his career managing Arsenal, “Phase 4 to 5 establishing yourself at the highest level in the champions League. Consistently performing with a lot of unity and being very close to touching big trophies.”

No one, just like last season, Arteta will continue with a back 3, plus an inverted full back. That full back will either be Zinchenko from the left or Timber from the right. They will come in alongside Rice or Partey when attacking, thus allowing Havertz to join Odegaard in the attacking midfield just like Xhaka did last season.
If i am wrong? feel free to pull me up once the season starts.
You could be right. Not sure if Timber’s skill set will allow him to be that inverted fullback. Time will tell. Thanks for the response.
