The Emirates should be rockin’ on Tuesday night!

Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain club rolls into north London on Tuesday for the first leg of the two-leg semifinal v Arsenal.

The site will be the home of the Gunners – Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal is no stranger to PSG this season since the Gunners faced the Parisian club in the League Phase of this tournament on October 1st. Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka scored the Gunners two goals for a 2-0 clean sheet victory in Emirates Stadium on that day.

PSG is lead by stars Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marquinhos, Marco Ascensio, Joao Neves and Nuno Mendes. PSG is currently leading Ligue 1 by 20 points over second place Marseille, plus Enrique’s club has allowed only one defeat in their domestic league competition this season.

For Arsenal, this is just another big step in the club’s return to the glory years. After a disappointing run in the Premier League this season, the Gunners can now focus their attention on this competition in an effort to reach the UCL Final v Inter Milan or Barcelona.

The Gunner have been very inconsistent this season, AND had too many draws to challenge for the league title. However, we should expect the team to be at full throttle on Tuesday, and come out firing on all cylinders to take early control of the match.

One side note, remember Thomas Partey is serving a one-game suspension for yellow cards, so he will not be eligible for this match.

On that note, here is my predicted starting line-up on Tuesday…

Martinelli, Trossard, Saka

Merino, Odegaard, Rice

Lewis-Skelly, Kiwior, Saliba, Timber

Raya

Predicted final score: ARSENAL 3 – PSG 2
