Today is a big day at the Emirates Stadium!
First of all, this will be the first time since March 7th any supporters have been allowed to watch a match from inside the grounds.
As weird as it sounds, allowing 2,000 into the grounds today is truly a monumental accomplishment for 2020!

So, let’s put it together this way. Can today be not only a reboot for the spectators, but also a reboot for our beloved Arsenal Football Club?
As tough as the going has been of late, Mikel Arteta and his squad still deserves our undying support, no matter how frustrated we get.

I have had some time over the past few hours to reflect on the entire situation in north London. Now, I haven’t had any sort of epiphany or life altering moment, however, I did come to the realization that even though we are currently struggling to find our footing in the Premier League, Arteta has done some remarkable things since taking over the club on December 26, 2019. He won the FA Cup and got us a spot in the Europa League, he signed Thomas Partey and Gabriel Magalhaes, and won the Community Shield against Liverpool, the PL’s defending champions.

Arteta’s overall record since taking control of Arsenal is: 27 wins, 7 draws and 11 defeats. That’s a nice .600 winning percentage. Now, that’s not Hall of Fame material, but it is a start to a good career.

Currently, Mikel is going through the growing pains of a first year manager. Yes, we can all agree we haven’t supported all of his decisions or team choices, however, in the spirit of the holidays, I think we need to step back, take a breath and let this month and next play out.

There is still a lot to gain from this season. Will Arsenal win the Premier League? No. Can Arsenal win another cup? Possibly. Can Arsenal qualify for next season;’s Champions League? Probably not. Can Arteta still salvage a good season and begin putting the pieces together for a much improved team for 2021-2022? Yes, I think he can.

As I stated in a post yesterday, I believe December will be Arteta’s make or break month. I still do, however, I think we need to also see what he can achieve in the January transfer window as well. Can he find the horses to make this a more creative squad?

Stay confident my fellow Gooners, and for the 2,000 strong attending today’s match at the Emirates, be loud and be supportive for our coach and for our players! We want to hear you!

Cheers, and stay healthy and safe.
