The Gunners are historically a slow-moving club when it comes to transfer signings.
Is it too early to worry? We the Gunners be successful with new signings this summer, or not?
The club needs a striker, another wing, a central defender, a midfielder and a goalkeeper, and, of course, several current stars need contract extensions as well.
These are all key ingredients for Mikel Arteta to complete his project and finally win trophies.
Reading media coverage of the transfer window is like watching a tennis ball bounce back and forth across the net. It is dizzying to say the least. Players names come and go, other clubs pop up to make possible moves go sideways, and of course, Arsenal has a slow, yet deliberate, way of handling these windows.
It’s all maddening for supporters to watch. Every day we open the paper, turn on the TV or radio, or scan the internet looking for good news. All we want are a few “Here we goes” from Fabrizio Romano to get the blood racing with excitement for the coming season.
The Premier League schedule is being released on Wednesday, so that is something to look forward too, however, let’s please make some singings so we can get a full squad together before the trip to Asia in July.

The 2025/2026 Premier League schedule will be released on Wednesday at 9 am BT/4 am ET.
The Mirror is also reporting Arsenal have identified Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz as an alternative target to teammate Rodrygo if the Gunners are unsuccessful luring the forward to north London this summer.
Tuesday’s match-ups: Fluminense v Borussia Dortmund, 12 pm ET – River Plate v Urawa Red, 3 pm ET – Ulsan v Mamelodi Sundowns, 6 pm ET – Monterrey v Inter Milan, 9 pm ET. All matches can be seen in the USA on DAZN.
