The Gunners have now earned the respect of the football community after impressive back-to-back Premier League victories.
Even though there is such a long way to go this season, we can dream of achieving great things this season. Can’t we?
When you crack two of Mikel Arteta’s biggest critics, it’s time to stand up and take notice of our young manager and his impressive squad.
Here’s what I mean…
Pier Morgan, “Dear Mike Arteta, I hereby formally declare trust in your process. You’ve built a thrilling team full of energy pace, power, commitment and ferocious will-to-win. Love the way we play and our attitude. I had my doubts about you – but not any more. Keep pounding.”
Michael Owen, “I never thought I’d say this, this season, but yea I do think they could win the title. The way they are there’s no fluke about it at the moment. They’ve got very, very good players. The way they play in a good way, they’ve got confidence throughout the team, confidence throughout the club, and some of the main protagonists are struggling at the moment. I think they could be the biggest challengers.”
The Gunners have won 8 of 9 Premier League matches, 10 of 11 overall. Our 24 points tops the league table, and if you remember, Arsenal didn’t earn 24 Premier League points last season until December 11th. That’s quite the turnaround.
What impressed my most about the last two league matches v Tottenham and Liverpool was our lads determination to win, and the incredible energy they put in through those matches. Every player, to a man, ran their socks off, attacked the ball, created chances, and fought with the determination to win these matches.
The only negative comment I have about the Liverpool match is that we gave the ball away too easily at times, but again, this was Liverpool we were playing.
Mikel Arteta was also very happy after Sunday’s win…

Yes, the football community is now paying attention to the Gunners, and yes, we can dream.
