The Gunners open Carabao Cup play on Wednesday at home v Brighton and Hove Albion.
This will be a tricky match for Mikel Arteta when selecting a starting XI.
First, Brighton and Hove have been playing some very good football this season, currently 6th on the Premier League table.
Second, will Brighton and Hove manager Roberto De Zerbi start a less-seasoned squad? My guess is no. They’ll want to prove a point here.

Andrew Madley will be the head referee for the FA Cup match between Arsenal and Manchester United. There is no VAR in the third round of this competition.
