Why is June such a long month?

You ask, “Why is June such a long month?”

Well, for one thing there is no Arsenal football, and it is the first month of a very long and drawn-out summer transfer window.

Yes, we have some international matches to watch, which is great, but at the end of the day it just not the same.

Now for the transfer window. As usual, Arsenal is dragging out negotiations with their top prospect. This time it’s Declan Rice. We are told personal terms with the player are done. Now, the Gunners to present a second bid to the Hammers.

As we know, the Gunners are known for taking a long time signing new players. The whole Declan Rice saga will probably drag-on for weeks, and along the way we will only get bits and crumbs of news updating that situation.

I know negotiations, transfer bids, personal terms and the like aren’t necessarily done over night, but come on fellas, let’s get the man signed. You have to know what your next bid will be, so make the call, or send the text.

Following a 2nd place finish least season in the Premier League, Arsenal’s front office knows exactly what they need and who they want. The question is, can they get those deals done before other clubs jump in an steal our guy or guys?

Keep you fingers crossed that we will hear some positive news very soon.

Until then, the Gunner first preseason match will be here on July 13th.

Let’s hope Declan Rice, and maybe even Kai Havertz will be a part of the club by then.

Cheers.
