The 2020 edition of the FA’s Community Shield will be held at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, August 29th.
This year will feature a fantastic doubleheader of football action.
Match 1 – 7:30 am EDT (12:30 pm BT)
Chelsea Women vs. Manchester City Women
This will be the first Women’s Community Shield match since 2008.
Chelsea are the FA Women’s Super League champions, while Manchester City are the current Women’s FA Cup holders
Match 2 – 11:30 am EDT (4:30 pm BT)
ARSENAL vs. Liverpool
The Gunners won the FA Cup, while Liverpool ran away with last season’s Premier League title.
The Daily Mail confirmed that initial plans to allow fans into Wembley for the Community Shield was in the works, but have since been abandoned, with the coronavirus on the rise again in the UK.
The men’s game will be streamed in the USA on ESPN+.










Mikel Arteta said on Friday Bukayo Saka, Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber are all in contention to be in the squad for Saturday’s match.
