The Arsenal Women’s team are currently just one point behind Chelsea in the FA Women’s Super League table.
Both clubs have three league games remaining, and a wild finish is expected as the title race comes to a head on May 8th.
Arsenal has the following matches to play…
May 1 – Aston Villa (9th place)
May 4 – @ Tottenham (5th place)
May 8 – @ West Ham United (7th place)
While Chelsea has this remaining fixture list…
April 28 – Tottenham (5th place)
May 1 – @ Birmingham City (12th place)
May 8 – Manchester United (3rd place)
It’s hard to say which team has the fixture advantage, however, I would have to give a little edge to the Arsenal Women since the Blues face Manchester United on the final weekend. Any slip-up by either side could cost the FAWSL trophy at the end of the season.
Stay tuned, as this will be fun to watch!
COYG!
Cheers.
