What a day at Stamford Bridge! Our young Gunners came to show the football world they hardly done and dusted this season with a terrific all-around 4-2 victory over Chelsea!
At times, Arsenal’s and defense was a little sloppy, however, when the big moments arose, they were johnny on the spot to take advantage of any Chelsea mistake. A brace by Eddie Nketiah, a laser shot by Emile Smith Rowe Buakyo Saka’s penalty kick sent Arsenal home winners, and tied on points with Tottenham Hotspur for 4th place in the Premier League.
This team is quickly becoming a real Jekyll and Hyde outfit. You never now what you’re going to get from match to match – either the good Arsenal, or the bad Arsenal. However, if Mikel Arteta can muster more Hyde-type performances from his squad seven more times this season, the Gunners could have a shot to make the Champions League.
Alos, I think Arteta might have found a tactical set-up that really works with the team he has. The 4-2-3-1 paid dividends today.
Yes, it has been a tough few weeks, and yes, keeping the faith hasn’t been easy, however, today was a ray of sunshine for Gooners everywhere!
