Arsenal has once again showed it is more than a football team, but that the Gunners are also an important member of the Islington neighborhood, and the city of London.
A statement from the club released today said, “Arsenal Football Club has never shied away from responding to the needs of its community. In these uncertain times we are taking a series of steps to ensure our local and global communities receive our full support. The Arsenal Foundation will donate £100,000 to local charities and organisations that are supporting those most in need during this COVID-19 crisis.”
We all need to send along a big “THANK YOU” to this terrific organization as it continues to reach out to the people most in need during these trying times.
Cheers Arsenal!
