Arsenal Football Club have had to deal with a lot since the start of the season.
First, an awful start to the season, the firing of Unai Emery, the interim period with Freddie Ljungberg, and then the hiring of Mikel Arteta. They have also had to deal with the Ozil-Kolasinac incident, the Granit Xhaka drama, plus a slew of injuries and suspensions to key personnel.
So, with that said, Mikel Arteta can’t wait to get his squad out off London and into Dubai for some warm weather training during the Premier League’s winter break.
Arteta told Arsenal Player, “It’s good to go away. The players have been through a lot. The last two or three months have been tough for them so I want to give them a few days off. Then we’re going to go to Dubai, start working and focus on Newcastle. We have to stay positive.”
