At this writing, there is exactly 30 hours left in this summer’s transfer window. Hopefully, the Gunners are busy behind the scenes trying to find a new right back and some addiotnal defensive help on the back line. A striker would be an added nice touch as well.
Here’s the latest update on the eight Arsenal players Edu and Arteta are trying to move out of this season’s squad…
Hector Bellerin – His agent and the Gunners are still working on a deal that would give the Spaniard his wish too leave the Emirates. Real Betis, Villarreal, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are all possibilities.
Sead Kolasinac – Fenerbahce seems to be the one team still interested in the defender.
Alexandre Lacazette – Barcelona is willing to discuss money with the Gunners, who are reportedly asking $20.6-million (USD) for the French striker.
Reiss Nelson – Feyenoord in The Netherlands are looking at Nelson for a year-long loan.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles – Everton has made an offer for a loan deal, with an option to buy the Englishman.
Eddie Nketiah – Crystal Palace is still in the frame for the young striker.
Alex Runarsson – There is no current interest for the goalkeeper.
Willian – The Brazilian has torn up his Arsenal contract and has signed on with Corinthians.
Now, here’s the latest on who the Gunners could possibly sign before the window closes…
Marco Asensio – The midfielder could be a late player the Gunners make on with Real Madrid possibly looking to offload the 25-year-old.
Kieran Trippier – There is still hope to get this talented right back on board by the deadline. However, Atletico Madrid needs to sign Lille fullback Zeki Celik before KT can leave the Spanish club.
