Congratulations are in order for three of Arsenal’s brightest stars.
First, Aaron Ramsdale, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka were all part of Gareth Southgate’s England’s starting XI on Monday v San Marino, which was extremely cool!
Second, both Smith Rowe and Saka scored goals, while ESR added an assist as well. Ramsdale also contributed a clean sheet to help England’s cause. Even more cool!
The Three Lions have now advanced to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar following their 10-0 win. England captain Harry Kane added four goals in the one-sided affair.
As of this writing, here are the nations that have qualified so far for next year’s World Cup…
Qatar (host nation), Germany, Denmark, Brazil, France, Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Serbia, England, Switzerland
There are still 21 spots open.
Cheers to all!
