Arsenal’s match at Manchester City has been postponed due to a coronavirus exposure

The Gunners will have to wait until later in the season to face Manchester City in their second Premier League match of the season.

Following the Olympiakos game in Greece, several members of the Arsenal team shook hands with Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis, who has since contacted the coronavirus. The risk to those Arsenal players is extremely low, however, they will remain in their homes for the remainder of the 14 day period since their contact with Mr. Marinakis. Several Arsenal staff will also remain at home until Friday. The names of those players and staff members have not been publicly released.

Arsenal will then finalize preparations for their Premier League match with Brighton and Hove Albion set for Saturday.
