Here are some random thoughts on Sunday’s draw at Manchester City…
It’s hard to imagine a 0-0 draw being called exciting, right? However, I my opinion, the game was stacked with some great play from both sides. Yes, it was not an offensive showdown that many had expect, but the last thirty minutes of the match were wide opening, nerve-racking and a lot of fun to watch.
Even though Arsenal held the ball only around 25% of the match, the Gunners were a solid wall of defensive accountability and desire to prevent the Cityzens from getting a cheap score. William Saliba and Gabriel again held the league’s top scorer, Erling Haaland, scoreless on Sunday. The big Norwegian never even got off a shot.
Here are my Men of the Match: Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice and Anthony Taylor. Odegaard and Rice were all over the pitch applying pressure to the City midfield and front line, while Taylor did a remarkable job officiating the match. The referee let the players play, avoiding needless stoppages and allowing the game to flow. The Premier League needs to use this as an example for managing big matches.
Okay, we sit second on the table, two points behind Liverpool and one point ahead of Man City. Arsenal has the toughest schedule of the three to finish the season, no question. However, if Arsenal can win out the remainder of their league fixture list, I believe they will win the title. Liverpool will take a hit or two, and so will Peps’ club. The Gunners can not falter. There can be no relapses if a trophy is in their minds eye.
April and May will produce a lot of drama, and the top three in the table will change places a few times as well. Also, let’s not forget Aston Villa. The Villains are just eight points behind Liverpool with matches still to come against Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City. So, Unai Emery’s team will be a major player in helping to decide who will claim the top prize.
Also, let’s give the Arsenal Women a big congratulations for winning the club’s second consecutive Conti Cup trophy on Sunday. This win should help lift the women’s confidence as they also go into the last part of their schedule.

Well all being said Mickel Arteta really tried but it remained really Bukayo Saka is one of our main players but you must not use him when he is not 50/50 there making him look ordinary I feel if Arteta had used Reise Nelson or Eddie Nketiah and allow Bukayo Saka to recover well it would do us a lot of good we still have tough matches like Aston villa,Tottenham, Brighton and many others in short no club is small and remember that Westham and Fulham dent our performances otherwise we would have have been six points richer by now please always allow your players to be fresher already did have been done but for another time.
