It’s official, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed a three year extension to stay with the Arsenal Football Club!
The 31-year-old striker from Gabon has been Arsenal’s driving force as Mikel Arteta architects a plan to bring the Gunners back to prominence in both England, and in Europe.
As the club’s captain, Auba has recently raised two trophies, the 2020 FA Cup, and the 2020 Community Shield. His goal is to raise even more silverware for the Arsenal Football Club in the years ahead!
Auba told Arsenal.com after signing his contract, “Signing for this special club was never in doubt,” Auba said. “It’s thanks to our fans, my team-mates, my family and everybody at this club that I feel like I belong here. I believe in Arsenal. We can achieve big things together. We have something exciting here and I believe the best is to come for Arsenal.”
In his 2 1/2 seasons with the Gunners, Auba has been the club’s leading goal scorer, and this past season was named to the PFA Team of the Year. He finished second to Jamie Vardy in the Golden Boot race as the Premier League’s top goal scorer.
So, now Arsenal can take deep breath and put all focus on the coming season, and on finalizing a few more of their top signings!
Today is a great day to be a GOONER!
COYG!
Cheers, and stay healthy and safe!
