If you didn’t believe before, you have to believe today

What could be better than a clean sheet win over north London rivals Totten Hotspur, and in their own stadium, too? Actually, not too much!

With today’s 2-0 victory, Arsenal has swept both matches v Hotspur this season, which is the first time since the 2007/2008 season.

It was a performance for the ages. Well maybe not for the ages, but it was a terrific performance by our young team. The first half showed control and aggressiveness, while the second half showed determination and calmness. It wasn’t the prettiest win of the season, but it was an important one. Any time you keep Harry Kane from scoring, you’ve had a great game.

But, what impressed me most was the Gunners ball movement in the midfield and inside the 16-yard box. The Gunners passing was crisp, clean and accurate lead by Martin Odegaard who was masterful with the ball in tight spaces. Also, let’s not forget Thomas Partey’s thunder strike that hit the right goalpost. I think the goal post inside Tottenham Stadium is probably still vibrating after that hit. Wow!

It’s really kind of scary when you think how far this young manager and his young team have come this season. Yes, there is a long way to go, but in every game we see their confidence growing. Barring injuries the Gunners have a real shot to win the Premier League title! Today proved that.

If you didn’t believe before, you have to believe today.

Cheers!

  1. That Was A Very Big Statement WIN Especially Over Spurs Being A Rival.
Arsenal Should Try To Be Prudent Especially This January. Big Signings Should Be In The Summer Cos Most Players Are Overprized Now. They Should Go For Players That Will Cost Less Like Trossard, Tielemans(Players That Have Just Six Months).
