Let me make another revision to the list of Arsenal players I think will either be transferred or loaned out in January.
The Express is reporting as many as 12 Gunners will be gone. I think that might too big of a number, but who the heck really knows. However, it is fun to make a projection or two, or three, or more.
So, here is my revised list of Gunners on the move in the January transfer window…
Shkodran Mustafi – transfer
Konstantinos Mavropanos – transfer
Emile Smith-Rowe – loan
Eddie Nketiah – loan (Sheffield Wednesday is a strong possibility)
Sokratis Papastathopoulos – transfer
Sead Kolasinac – transfer
Alexandre Lacazette – transfer
My list is 7. I think with Arsenal looking at Edison Cavani, Laca might be on the outside looking in at the Emirates. This one is a real stretch I know, but stranger things have happened in the transfer window.
I think because of the club’s struggles defensively, David Luiz is safe until summer.
Mesut Ozil is also off the list because Arteta loves the guy and wants him to remain a Gunner.
Stand by!
Cheers. Gunner1953
